My husband attended the second funeral today, for Officer (now Detective) Wenjian Liu. It was raining all day, on and off, misting, and then the fog rolled out as the city got warm.
The Big Story is how once again the NYPD as a whole turned their backs on the sad excuse for a NYC Mayor.
But I say the real story lies here, in a widow's eulogy:
She finished by saying, “I thank you, my extended family, my family of blue.”
